Balboa Island

In 1899 W.S Collins bought 1,000 acres of land around Newport Bay and dredged the land in order to create present day Balboa Island. Balboa Island is naturally beautiful and has kept its small town quaint feel with approximately 3,000 residents living on just 0.2 square miles.
