39th Annual Turkey Trot

Thanksgiving is all about being thankful and appreciative of what you have. This Thanksgiving tradition is your chance to run for a cause! Participate in this year's 39th Annual Turkey Trot in Dana Point and you will be helping benefit the Family Assistance Ministries which exists to serve the underprivileged and undernourished population of South Orange County. Not only will you feel good, but you'll be doing good too! 

Over the years, this race has become one of Orange County's most anticipated events, and it ranks as the sixth largest turkey trot in the country. More than 16,000 people participate in this charity event that is put on by the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Run Racing. This athletic tradition is for both kids and adults and is for all experience levels. Pick from the 5K race, 10K race, Kids’ Gobble Wobble race, and a two-day health and wellness expo. 

Turkey Trot Schedule 

7:00 AM - 10K Starts
8:30 AM - 5K Masters Starts (age 40 +)
9:10 AM - Costume Contest
9:30 AM - 5K Open Start
10:15 AM - Kids' Gobble Wobble Start (1 Mile)
