Annual Newport Beach to Ensenada Yacht Race

This year’s Newport Beach to Ensenada race is back for both fun and healthy competition. This iconic race is expected to have over 250 entries. The races will be split into three exciting race course options and all races start off of the Balboa Pier on Balboa Peninsula. The main race with over 200 boats is still considered one of the largest international yacht races in the world and it will begin at 11 AM with classes starting every 10 minutes. This will be a thrilling overnight race that truly puts your skills to the test. The Newport Ocean Sailing Association also offers a full day race called the Border Run to San Diego. The third race option is the “Short Course” for Cruising and smaller PHRF racers called the Border Run Sprint where you'll cruise down to Dana Point. Good luck!
