Fall’s Favorite Festivals in Newport Beach
Fall is the perfect time to visit Newport Beach! With kids back in school and parents back to work the streets are less crowded, parking spaces are easy to find and reserving a table at your favorite restaurant is a breeze. The weather is still warm enough for the beach during the day with cooler temperatures in the evening. Break out those stylish boots that have been sitting in your closet all summer and head to one of Newport’s fall favorite festivals.
The 3rd Annual Newport Beach Wine & Food Festival is one of our favorites! Kicking off on September 29th, this 4 day event begins with the first ever “Taste around Town” event. You’ll enjoy an exclusive 5 course food and wine pairing at Newport Beach restaurants. This delicious event is prepared and hosted by celebrity chefs, local tastemakers and master sommeliers.
The main event takes place on Saturday and Sunday at the beautiful Newport Beach Civic Center. Prepare to taste, sip and learn with culinary masters, sommeliers, restaurants, wineries and more! VIP ticket offers are available. This intimate culinary experience has a limited number of tickets so make sure to get yours before they sell out!
Festa Dell’ Autunno will give you a little taste of Italy during its 6th annual harvest season celebration. This 3 day event takes place on Friday, October 7th with a seasonally inspired cuisine and wine pairing by Italian guest chef Filippo Gozzoli from the Armani Hotel Milano. Saturday, October 8th the streets will be filled with people dancing to live music. It’s a day of celebration with arts & crafts, music & dancing and food & wine at the Italian Street Festa.
The event comes to a close on Sunday, October 9th with the “Under the California Sun Jazz Brunch” event. Experience alfresco dining at its finest with endless prosecco mimosas and live entertainment. It’s a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
