If you want to make your walls look as good as new take the plunge and paint the entire surface. You can take this project on yourself or you can hire a trusted painter in the area to do it for you. Clean Your Sump Pump

With the heavy downfall of rain this year in Orange County it's super important to make sure your sump pump is functioning properly. You can test this by adding water to the pit and making sure that the pump ejects the water. Once you see it’s functioning properly, check and make sure there is nothing in the way of the sump pump pipe and the water can drain freely to the outside.

Clean Your Refrigerator Coils

Located in the back of your fridge or on the bottom there are condenser coils. These coils condense refrigerated gas back and forth from a gaseous to a liquid state. When they get dirty the air is restricted from flowing freely and you’re refrigerator won’t work as it should. Cleaning coils with a vacuum is the best way and once they’re cleaned it will save energy and have your fridge working like new.

Clean The Dryer Vents

Laundry machine’s are an essential appliance for most American families running frequently throughout the week. Be sure to clean the dryer duct that is located in the back of your dryer and connects to the outside vents. If you don’t do this, your electricity bills can skyrocket due to the decreased efficiency of the dryer. The lint can clog the air flow and in extreme cases cause fires. Sometimes birds make their nests in the warm vents which can cause problems as well so covering the vents with a screen is a great idea. It is recommended that you use a leaf blower to blow out the lint and clean the dryer vent.
