Stepping inside this newly remodeled home, guests will find all of the amenities that a upgraded home has to offer. The living room provides an indoor outdoor space with doors opening to the patio on the bayfront. All the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground level and are equipped to properly serve the needs of our guests. House includes 2 parking spots in the garage. Garage can fit two small cars or one larger SUV/Truck. 16"6 Depth, 16" long, and 6"9 in height. *No dock usage. *This property is a duplex with a small unit above the garage with a long term tenant. They have their own entrance off the alley. Your unit is completely private.

Go for a walk around the Island and stroll along historic Marine Avenue. Indulge in one of Balboa Island's famous frozen banana or a Balboa Bar. Explore the area via the ferry to visit the Balboa Village on the Peninsula and take in the views of the Balboa Pier. Rent a bike, jet ski, stand up paddle board, or kayak.

Whale watching, and deep-sea fishing trips are close by with many boats that leave the Balboa Pavilion daily. Idyllic Island Home

This house was perfectly situated on little Balboa island. It was exceptionally clean and decorated. We were able to fit two cars in the garage so no parking issues. Loved walking out the front door for a walk or a swim/paddle. We still stay here again.

What a gem. This house is perfectly situated on little Balboa island. It was exceptionally clean (my Dad is an infectious disease doctor so that says a lot!) and decorated. We were able to fit two cars in the garage so no parking issues. Loved walking out the front door for a walk or a swim/paddle. It’s incredibly serene and peaceful, we were so happy with everything. The host was very proactive at communicating and making sure we had a good stay. We still stay here again.

Heaven by the bay


This darling cottage suited our needs in every way. Loved the view, location and the charming beach feel. The property managers were attentive to any needs immediately and most helpful. Looking forward to nextime for sure

What a lovely week we had! This home is comfortable and perfectly located, looking out on the bay. The patio has comfortable furniture. The small island is bliss! We walked everywhere including for all our meals. The house is very clean, quiet and charming. The garage is a bonus too! *Suggestions: All Bathroom towels need replacing. They are small, worn out and too thin to be absorbent. Also, please have housekeeping make sure all the flatware and all the knives in the knife block are clean before putting them away. Overall, the rental was BLISS and we look forward to returning soon.

Loved this little house!

It was comfortable and quiet. We loved sitting on the patio and watching all of the activities going on. Walking distance for everything. 2 very minor issues that were corrected very quickly. I would suggest some kind of window covering for the living room. Not any privacy in the living room. We have stayed on the main Balboa Island several times. This was the first time in Little Island and we loved it. Very kind and caring neighbors. We would love to come and stay again!

Absolutely wonderful waterfront home


Thank you for a peaceful and beautiful stay. I was recovering from surgery on this water in this gorgeous home. Appreciate the cleanliness and view! We will be back again! My only feedback is you need some plastic glass wear and plates for outdoor! Thank you :)

House was great, clean great location. We bought a clock for master bedroom, chip clips, more Kleenex and toilet paper for 2 week stay. House could use drape on living room doors facing East Bay. Plastic glasses and plates for patio dining, needed more laundry soap.

A great location for a family vacation and plenty of space to host friends or share the space. We had our family of 4 and some family guests and it was plenty of space. Small beach on Balboa island right out front for kids to play. Could have used a few more towels so if you are reading this and you are renting here bring a few extra and your beach towels as they either aren’t supplied or I just couldn’t find them.

My husband and I were a bit concerned prior to our arrival as we just found out that there was a rental unit attached to this home. There is nothing mentioned in the rental info prior or in the description of the property. You only find out in arrival info. The other item of concern was the parking because it was advertised with a two car garage. Again, mentioned more specifically in info prior to arrival that it fits one smaller SVU etc. . That being said, we managed fine and the apartment renters did not bother us all and the garage accommodated our car but just, not room for anything else. It is more a length of car issue than a width. The garage is the only part of the house not remodeled.
We were very thankful for air conditioning as it was very warm and humid for our arrival. We had everything we needed and house was in pristine condition. We loved the location and the table and chairs out front with an umbrella. I think it best you make it known that the property is a duplex so there are no surprises. The tenant is able to access side of house but not able to use patio etc.
