My only complaint is that there were no cleaning supplies (broom, dust pan, 409, dish soap, etc.) which would have helped us keep the place cleaner during our stay. Other than that, this property is perfect and the location can't be beat.

Loved the location, just a few steps to the beach. We rented bikes and rode everyday. We would stay there again, had a great time. The only things I would suggest is some small things like salt and pepper, paper towels, pitcher for juice and coffee filters. Just small items like that would be nice if already there so they did not have to be bought. There was extra pillows, but no extra cases. The power did go out several times but came back on, on its own. Not sure if they were working on it or maybe doing something upstairs. But these things were no big deal, and we loved our stay. Thanks!

This home is only one house from the beach! The large patio was my favorite spot to relax with lots of shade, surrounded by beautifully landscaped plants and flowers with beach views. The home is spacious and has your bare basic necessities. It is outdated, see listing pictures, but it is functional, clean and you are really paying for the great location. The property management responded in a timely manner via text/ email. The only issue I had was being given the wrong lock box code, but it was resolved fairly quickly. The owners do live upstairs, but they were very welcoming. There is no ac. Box fans are provided. The listing states there is a charcoal grill, but it is electric. You must provide your own shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap for sinks/showers, spices, beach chairs/towels. I parked my car and did not need it the entire stay. There are many food/bar options, the pier and a grocery store within walking/biking distance. I 100% would book this home again!

Our Family has been taking Family vacations in Newport for many years, although we haven't been in about 12 years. I was very pleased with Burr White and the condition of the property. I was a little disappointed with a few of the longtime residents. I understand the inconvenience that all the visitors can bring but being rude to visitors who are respectful and courteous to them is uncalled for One crochy old lady was so rude to us she made my Grandkids cry for really no reason, later I heard her yelling at the cable company on the phone,I just chalked it up as she is just unhappy,.The Balboa Fun Zone is rundown and needs a refresh.Beach was Great. It was a nice time and we will be backk again.
