The bay beach directly across the street allows guests full-on views of not only the bay, but portions of Lido Island, Balboa Island, Linda Isle and the city - plus the mountains, on a clear day. The spacious living area has large glass sliding doors that provide incredible views. The large kitchen and roomy side deck plus two car garage parking, make this property desirable with or without the views! And the ocean is just steps away.

The upper-level living room takes up the entire front of the home and has a long balcony with chairs, all the better to enjoy sweeping views of the area. A couch, loveseat and additional seating, plus wall-mounted flat panel TV provide a comfortable setting for gathering together to share the day experiences. A dining area has a large wooden table and eight chairs for family meals. The efficient kitchen has plenty of cabinet space and granite counters for meal preparation. A smaller seating nook off the kitchen, with an adjacent half bath. Sliders here open to the patio with table and chairs and a gas barbecue.

The home has four ground floor bedrooms. A king bed graces the bay view master bedroom with ceiling fan and en suite bath. The first guest room also has a king bed, ceiling fan and a door into the adjacent hall bath. The third bedroom has a queen bed and en-suite bath. The fourth bedroom is open to the stairway to the second floor and hallway and shares the hall bath. This retro bathroom has an original tub and tiling in vintage peachy-pink!

An indoor laundry room just off the garage has a full-size washer and dryer. Fireplaces are non operational.

The large side deck on the second story is furnished with table and chairs and propane barbecue. It's terrific for meals and also allows for great air circulation throughout the entire upstairs. The front deck has chairs for enjoying views of the bay. The ground floor patio with wrought iron furniture is terrific for people watching at street level. You are directly across from the bay beach, with not obstructions for view.

The home has a two-car garage.

Ten-acre Marina Park, is just five blocks away, with The Lighthouse Restaurant, an outdoor fitness circuit, basketball courts and picnic area allows visitors to soak up city and bay views. With both piers close by and the Balboa fun zone near, the area offers boundless options for family fun!

Everything about this stay was amazing. The view is spectacular, the street is extremely quiet given the proximity to Balboa Boulevard. The home is so much bigger than you expect.
We truly didn’t want to leave.
Our host was proactive in communication, checked on us to make sure all was good and gave us a reminder of check out process.
We would definitely stay here again.

Place looks like it does in the pictures. Definitely outdated but functional. Great view of the bay and public beach. 2 car garage is great for extra space.
Downsides: one of the bedrooms you have to walk through to get to garage and other bedroom, FYI. We didn't use it
Place could use exterior hose bib to wash off sand, definitely makes a mess in the shower : (
No A/C, FYI
No Beach towels, toys, chairs, or bikes. Would be awesome if they had these things and would pay slightly more if they did.

The view was out of this world, looks like you are in the south of France!
The location is convenient for restaurants, and the beach is at your doorstep!
Another good point is that there’s a grocery pre-ordering service which helps a lot!!
Would definitely re book this!!

Great Vacations

Very good location, clean, spacious, and great garage space. We want to do again this next year for Parade if Lights. We had a couple of things that needed repair and Sarah at Burr White did a great job of having fixed. We have stayed with Burr White many times. They usually give us a form to complete for the next year rental. We need one. Thanks so much!
